The self-titled Queensrÿche EP, released in 1983, marked the debut of the band Queensrÿche, showcasing their early sound, which combined elements of progressive metal and traditional heavy metal. It contained just four tracks, but they made a significant impact, displaying the band's technical proficiency, soaring vocals, and sophisticated songwriting.
