Vintage 1980s Disc Bot programmable toy robot, sold as The Family Robot. This battery-operated educational robot uses interchangeable Disc-Cam cartridges to create four different driving patterns.

The robot features light-up eyes, moving arms, and programmable movement paths controlled by the included disc modules. By inserting different cam discs labeled A, B, C, and D, the robot follows various driving patterns such as circles and directional movements.

This example includes the original inner tray and box, along with all four Disc-Cam cartridges, making it a more desirable collector set for vintage robot toy enthusiasts.

Manufactured in Hong Kong and imported by St. Jacques, Montreal, this toy represents the early wave of programmable educational robots that appeared during the 1980s electronics boom.
