The Chinese Xianfeng period (1850-1861) overlaps with a time when Chinese and Japanese porcelain were highly valued in global markets.. 

Xianfeng Porcelain: Porcelain from this period is often more rustic due to the instability in China during the Second Opium War. However, pieces are still well-crafted, often featuring traditional Chinese motifs like dragons, nature, and fish.

Koi Fish Symbolism: In Chinese and Japanese cultures, koi fish symbolize perseverance, strength, and good fortune. They're a common motif in art and decorative objects.

In Store Pickup

In store pickup available during opening hours. You will be notified as soon as it's ready. We'll hold onto your purchase for 48 hours free of charge, but if you need a little extra time, we offer secure storage for $20 per day. 

We deliver via courrier anywhere in Canada. For larger deliveries, we work with a small company that will deliver anywhere within 30km of EcoDepot for a discounted price (courrier delivery for large items can be very expensive). If you would like to purchase a larger item, this is the third party company:
