Description

Curtis Jere, a pseudonym for the American metalworking duo of Jerry Fels and Curtis Jere, is known for creating sculptures in the mid-20th century that embody the Modernist style. Their works often feature abstract or organic shapes and are crafted in metals like brass, copper, and bronze.

A Curtis Jere deer sculpture would likely blend fluid lines, geometric abstraction, and the use of various metals. These pieces often have a natural yet stylized interpretation of animals, with a strong emphasis on artistic form over realistic depiction.

The deer might be represented in a minimalist way, with abstract shapes forming the body, legs, and antlers. The use of patinated or polished metals would give the sculpture a distinctive texture and sheen. It could be an elegant and dynamic piece that evokes motion and grace, fitting into both modern and natural interior designs.
