Signed and numbered by the author, Limited edition, this is 586/1000. 134 p.p. Red cloth with gilt title stamped on front cover and spine. Dust jacket has a slightly sunned spine. A few small scuffs to front cover. 37 plates in full colour + B&W photos and documents throughout. With inset promoting the book launch on June 7, 1988 at the Jewish Public Library in Montreal, and a pre-order slip. Alexander Bercovitch was the Russian-Jewish painter who lived and worked in Montreal from 1926 until his sudden death in 1951. He played a major role in the evolution of modern art in Canada, and was part of great events on two continents.

In store pickup available during opening hours. You will be notified as soon as it's ready. We'll hold onto your purchase for 48 hours free of charge, but if you need a little extra time, we offer secure storage for $20 per day. 

We deliver via courrier anywhere in Canada. For larger deliveries, we work with a small company that will deliver anywhere within 30km of EcoDepot for a discounted price (courrier delivery for large items can be very expensive).
