Authentic Mid-Century Modern Couroc of Monterey rectangular serving tray featuring the highly collectible Roadrunner motif. Made in Monterey, California, this vintage serving tray showcases Couroc’s signature satin-black phenolic resin body with intricate hand-inlaid craftsmanship using mixed natural materials.

Unlike painted decoration, the Roadrunner artwork is fused directly into the tray using hand-inlaid woods, shell, and metal accents, creating the distinctive textured look Couroc became famous for during the 1950s–1970s.

Couroc trays are prized for their durability and iconic California modern aesthetic. Original company literature described the material as impervious to alcohol and boiling water, making these pieces both functional and decorative.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with visible surface scratches, light scuffing, and age-related wear consistent with use. Inlaid Roadrunner design remains intact and displays very well. Original underside label and embossed Monterey California marking present.
